GivingJoe was founded by students for students and with the exception of our Executive Officers, is operated by students as well.  Our students are the lifeblood of GivingJoe and it is our goal to ensure that we help these students fulfill their educational dreams. 

When a student is accepted as a Marketing Associate with GivingJoe they are taking steps into the world of an entrepreneur.  Although it is a protected world where training, materials and leadership are provided, it is a world where hard work pays great rewards. 

Each Marketing Associate will begin his journey by introducing the GivingJoe opportunity to local organizations comprised of churches, charities and educational institutions and continue on his way by providing the support and marketing required to ensure the success of his organizations.    When these groups are successful, he too will realize the financial support he needs to reach his goal.

By successfully managing his relationships, Marketing Associates will receive a 20% override on all donations made to his organizations.  He will continue to receive these funds as long as he remains enrolled in a continuing education program and maintains a 3.0 GPA or better.  Additionally, Marketing Associates are expected to maintain a meticulous code of conduct and to participate in an GivingJoe world-wide educational project once every two years.

At the end of the journey, our students will trade in their GivingJoe position for their diplomas and long anticipated careers.  And while GivngJoe will have played an important role in helping them finance their educational goals we will have also developed young entrepreneurs who possess key business skills such as management, marketing and finance and compassionate individuals who have learned the value of helping those in need.
